Day 12
With yesterday's navigation and hospitality traumas fresh in our minds, we were away promptly, aided by some really quite inedible salami slices to give us the final hint. We shook the dust from our feet and moved on to a very focused day with actually no photographs at all. However, there were also no navigational errors and we arrived at a creditable 7 pm or so having covered an honest 350+ miles. The downside was that more or less every single one was on a motorway. I've cheated and put the photographs from tomorrow into today's gallery. On Day 13 the group broke up, with Damian & Vicki heading for Calais a day early to attend to emerging needs. On Day 14 Nicky & Phil went to le Havre to catch a ferry and Jan & Superted went to Calais to pick up the tunnel.
